  • Material: Ceramic

  • Manufacturer: American Bisque
  • Condition: I'm gonna try to go into as much details as possible. On the top part of his body where the two halves come together there are a few little nicks and/or where paint has flecked off. (Not sure you can see some of that as it sets inside where the two pieces come together. Little on white and blue area) In my opinion sounds worse than it is. Anything above that area arms/face/chest etc., is all good - colors look good also. On the lower part of the cookie jar or bottom half I find one small nick or where the blue paint has come off front just above the black button, and on the backside blue pants I believe you can see there is about 3 or 4 areas where the blue paint has come off. There is no cracks in the ceramic, and on the very bottom it appears whom ever made it put there initials in the ceramic. I believe it might be an American Bisque but I didn't see USA on bottom. The colors are cheerful, bright, and displays well. I believe it was made in the later part of 1960's

Vintage Unmarked Happy Face Circus Clown Character Cookie Jar which I think could be American Bisque. It is approximately 13 1/2" tall, and has some nice painted features in the facial area.  The colors they used makes it look cheerful and nice and bright. There are no cracks in the ceramic, and I will try to mention most of what I can about him, On the top part of his body where the two halves come together there are a few little nicks and/or where paint has flecked off.
