You are bidding on a 8 x 10 black and white photograph of HMS Pactolus (1896), the Pelorus Class cruiser , which served in the Royal Navy from 1898 to 1919.
Pactolus, began her long life when she was laid down in May 1896, at the venerable Armstrong shipbuilding yards, at Elswick. She was launched on 21 December, 1986, and commissioned into the Royal Navy in September 1898.
She was sold for scrap in 1921.
Photograph one is circa 1899 and shows an overall waterline starboard beam view.
Item two is a photo quality 8 x 10 colour statistics sheet showing,  her ships unofficial badges, general characteristics, callsigns (1906 & 1912 ) , trivia and the ensigns she proudly flew.
